I work in Television as a Director and before that I was in the Air Force.I built a house a few years ago in a nice village 20 minutes from Manchester.Never married before and have no children. Marriage is a once in a lifetime thing for me personally. I have blue eyes and dark hair. I enjoyskiing,swimming,scuba diving,cycling, holidays, days away, television,films, videos, reading,theatre, music, cooking and a lot of other activities from 10 pin bowling to skating: things made more enjoyable when shared withsomeone you care for. I enjoy romantic nights in by the fire, laughing and talking, sipping a glass of wine, as well as nights out, in the country,winebars,cinemas, restaurants. I like picnics, moonlit strolls, and places ofbeauty and tranquility. I love communication but feel that sometimes, words need not be spoken as the eyes can convey more feeling than can ever beexpressed by words. I get on well with children and animals. I believe what makes the best relationships work well , is when there is an element of love,trust,respect, friendship AND chemistry,with good open honest communication. When in a relationship I believe in 50/50 -- equality,and femininity, need not mean sacrificing independence. I like to think I'm intelligent, humorous, sincere, thoughtful, reliable, romantic, loving,open, and believe in good personal hygiene and grooming. Modern in outlook but retain some endearing old fashioned qualities. I like a laugh,especially when I get to know someone, but also know when to be serious, and enjoy a good chat. I like a woman who knows herself, with natural beauty,not overweight - whose soul can sparkle and who is not afraid to express her feelings and emotions. Someone who is sure about what she wants. Someone who is capable of loving as well as being loved, who can be romantic or sillywhen the moment seems right, but can also be serious and thoughtful when necessary. Being physically attracted to you as well as to your character is equally important.
